BDA-based company story: ROBOT4U Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
ROBOT4U Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a company that is deeply involved in the vertical application of service robots and provides big data business intelligence services. Established in December 2012, with a registered capital of 10 million ($1.49 million), it is located in East Rongchang Street, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA).
The company's main business area is the development, production and sales of service robots. It is the only robotics company in China that enters fast-moving consumer goods and provides services at the airport. It builds an industry customer data platform portal and builds a vertical domain industry knowledge base and voice interactive database through big data analysis. Also, the company is concentrating on polishing B2C consumer products, integrating its partner resources in its consulting and intelligent business, and is committed to bringing robots to thousands of households.
The company has three main product lines –– the "ALAN" series of B-end service robots, intelligent light mechanical arms, and the C-terminal family service robot "hypnosis baby'.
The "ALAN" series of B-end service robots have completed a technical update by using the 4th generation artificial intelligence chassis system, the "chip + algorithm" part of the overall control system, the voice interaction system, and the remote big data acquisition system. Customers can also customize the "ALAN" function for different needs. The service-oriented robot Alan series integrates advanced technology from the United States and Germany to cater to the needs of domestic B-end customers, such as for fast moving consumer goods, banks and airports. From structure to intelligence to service status, it has been successfully promoted in 57 cities across the country. Its clients include Mengniu, Yili, Yanjing Beer, 3trees, Bank of China, and the National Library of China.
The core components of the intelligent light-weight robotic arm, servo system and controller have been independently developed. The mechanical arm is light in weight and has seven degrees of freedom. Compared with other multi-axis robots on the market, the 7-axis and lightweight features of the intelligent light-weight robotic arm allow the robot to have a higher degree of freedom to avoid certain targets, to facilitate the end effector to reach a specific location, and to be more flexible to adapt to certain special working environments. In addition to product performance advantages, the cost of smart light robots is lower.
The C-terminal service robot "Hypnosis Baby" is the latest product developed by the company and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is expected to be officially ready for pre-sales in April 2017. It can help users through a series of solutions such as alpha brainwave, scene music and interactive hypnosis.
