Expanding event data services with big data technology
In the 2017 season, China Sports Media became the official data partner of the CSL, obtaining on-site data collection rights, data usage rights, and exclusive distribution rights for all competitions.
The company established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Yingdongli (Beijing) Big Data Technology Development Co., Ltd., to collect and analyze the field data of the events. Yingdongli’s design of professional event data products allows viewers to better understand the games. At the end of each game, Yingdongli can provide data analysis reports for different groups of people. In the official report, professional, scientific, in-depth, and comprehensive analysis of big data will help fans better understand the games.
The collection and analysis of event data can be applied in many fields, including media and for use by clubs. In order to meet the data needs of many fields, Yingdongli and the world's leading data service provider STATS China, formerly Amisco China, joined forces to make the world's leading SportVu acquisition system fully applied to CSL competitions, expanding the data business in the media and club services.
In terms of media, Yingdongli has already cooperated with many media outlets to provide a variety of data services, such as Beijing TV's weekly CSL highlights data, Tianjin TV's real-time technical and tactical data, as well as game data preview. It has provided real-time data and historical data to CCTV5, and provided real-time data push and data duplication through toutiao.com and Sina Weibo.
In terms of club cooperation, Yingdongli has already reached different agreements with Shandong Luneng, Shanghai Shanggang, Jiangsu Suning, Tianjin Quanjian, and Hebei Huaxia Xingfu. It provides customized services based on different data needs of different clubs.
