Through years of unremitting efforts, Oristar has filled a number of domestic gaps in research and development. It developed the first digital cinema server in China to be certified by Hollywood DCI.

It is also the only domestic film screening server to pass the international Hollywood DCI standard test and receive certification. It has earned 210 million yuan ($29.33 million) in sales and greatly reduced theater construction and operation costs in China.

A newly-developed CS cloud projection server can control theater screenings from within the theater by using the cloud, which can greatly reduce equipment procurement costs and facilitate better management. The server successfully integrates a traditional storage system and an SMS projection system of each auditorium into the theater center. Overall, the unified management of the private cloud server greatly reduces personnel, operation, and maintenance costs for theaters.

The company also developed and launched the first large-scale domestic laser curtain system, which is known as the “Cinelab giant screen projection system”. It reduces power consumption and costs while raising the low video quality that results from traditional xenon lamp technology.

In addition, the company also launched China’s first 2K digital film coding system with independent intellectual property rights.
