G20 Summit secured by Terahertz full body scanner
Beijing Aerospace Yilian Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd’s terahertz full body scanner made a powerful impact at the Hangzhou G20 Summit.
The terahertz full body scanner, which can rapidly detect contraband hidden under clothing with zero touch, radiation-free technology, was used on different occasions and in different ways. For example, at the Shanghai Fengjing highway toll-gate, it was used as a stand-alone static security scanning station. It scanned more than 200 people every day, including more than 10 drug addicts and escaped criminals who were identified with police support. In the Hangzhou Registration Center, it used a double dynamic scan to examine over one thousand people, including those who did not bring valid documents, or were carrying soft drinks and bags. In the Hangzhou intercontinental hotel staff entrance, it was deployed as a stand-alone static device to scan over 2000 people, and detected examinable material such as keys , mobile phones, cigarettes, and documents.
The terahertz full body scanner did well at the Hangzhou G20 Summit, and drew a lot of attention. Leaders of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, the Songjiang police substation, Shanghai Security Service Corporation, and a Shanghai television station made on-the-spot investigations of the THz devices, and the Shanghai Security Department voiced its approval.
