Beijing E-Town International Investment and Development Co (hereafter referred to as E-Town Capital) started to work with AVIC Automobile Systems Holdings Co in April 2010, and completed its acquisition of Nexteer in March 2011, taking control of 100 percent of the firm’s equity.

E-Town Capital assisted with the reorganization of AVIC Automobile and invested in the company.

AVIC Automobile is a platform for the development of the auto parts and extension industry of AVIC. It has four main operating entities. The company's main products are steering and transmission, body accessories and other products of AVIC, automotive electronics and additional core products.

In recent years, the company’s operating income and total profit have been on the rise. In September 2015, AVIC Automobile completed the acquisition of Henniges Automotive, representing one of the largest acquisitions made by Chinese automakers. The acquisition enhances the global strength of Henniges Automotive and helps it expand into the global market.

E-Town Capital’s investment in the project will introduce new opportunities for the development of high-end industries in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), and develop the leading position of BDA in the field of auto parts.
