Beijing E-Town International Investment and Development Co injected new capital into Beijing New Aerotropolis Holdings Co in 2015 to accelerate the pace of construction of Beijing Daxing International Airport, as well as its surrounding airport economic zone.

Construction work on the airport started in December 2014. And it is expected to be put into use in 2019.

Beijing New Aerotropolis Holdings Co is in charge of the development and construction of the airport economic zone, the airport’s investment financing, its operation management, and resource integration.

The company has already completed major projects such as land acquisition and house demolition, as well as the construction of new homes for those forced to move to make way for the new facility.
