Yopo Energy Technology Co (Yopo) was founded in 2010 in Changping district, Beijing, in 2010. It has a registered capital of 105 million yuan ($15.27 million).

Yopo was listed as part of the New OTC (Over the Counter) Market in 2015 (stock number: 837254).

The company originally engaged in power distribution and installation. In 2015, it started building and operating a smart microgrid.

In July 2018, Beijing E-Town International Investment & Development Co (E-Town Capital) invested in Yopo, as it was helping promote the transformation and upgrading of the energy and internet industries in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) and enhancing the comprehensive strength of the area’s energy sector.

The company's profits have been high in recent years, and it has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Southwest Securities.

Yopo entered the financial counseling market during the early stages of small and medium-sized capital stocks.
