The 2019 Laser Manufacturing and Remanufacturing Technology and Application Seminar opened in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (also known as BDA) on June 27, according to local media.

The seminar attracted participation of some 300 people including well-known experts in the laser technology industry, representatives of leading enterprises, and personnel of scientific research units.

The three-day seminar, themed around “Laser technology, additive manufacturing and remanufacturing related optoelectronic technology”, conducted research on related optoelectronic technology for design, materials, processes, equipment, testing, and standard specifications for additive manufacturing and remanufacturing. The aim is to enhance the digitalization, intelligence and high stability of additive manufacturing and remanufacturing technologies to facilitate the quality development of related industries.

During the report section of the seminar, well-known experts and entrepreneurs in the field of laser technology shared the application of cutting-edge laser technology and research results and traditional manufacturing transformation and upgrading in recent years.

In the three parallel sessions of the seminar, guests exchanged and discussed topics such as laser intelligent manufacturing, laser manufacturing technology and application demonstration, and laser additive manufacturing of high-performance alloy steel components. After the sessions, the guests went to BOE Technology Group Co for a visit, and received a deeper understanding of the industrial development environment, industrial policy advantages and industrial investment ecology of the BDA.
