Beijing cultural creation, innovation, entrepreneurship competition, launched successfully
The first "Huaxia Bank" cultural creation, innovation, entrepreneurship competition, E-Town division, undertaken by E-Town Capital, began successfully on July 7.
The E-Town division competition featured a theme of "Integrative development of scientific and cultural innovation", with a goal of creating a "Cultural E-Town" that takes advantage of E-Town's resources and improves its industries' transformation.

Cultural and creative industry has become the fastest-growing new industry. Demonstrating remarkable power, it has developed at the average speed of 20 percent per year over the last four years and recorded a profit of 81 billion yuan in 2015. The Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) is constructing a cultural and creative think tank, financial and personnel services, a business incubator, communication facilities, and park platforms to turn "Made in E-Town" into "Created in E-Town".

The competition is a response to the call of Prime Minister Li Keqiang encouraging people to start their own businesses and make innovations. Its purpose is to look for personnel and projects in the cultural and creative industry, increasing its depth, and to guide the healthy development of Beijing's cultural and creative industry.
The competition will last for three months, until the awards ceremony on August 28. E-Town Capital as the organizer of the competition will consult with guests and specialists from academia and discuss the cultural and creative industry with investment organizations to support the BDA's industrial development.
Six projects have qualified for the next competition.
