A three-year action plan for Tongminghu Information City was released at the "2020 Tongminghu Information Technology Application Innovation Forum" held in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) on Nov 26.

According to the action plan, BDA will focus on the 3.9 square-kilometer area surrounding Tongminghu to build an industrial system featuring high-end aggregation, efficient integration, and high-frequency interaction.

The forum, jointly hosted by the Cyber Security Industry Development Center (Information Center) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, is a high-end annual event for China's information technology application innovation industry.

The event consists of a series of sessions including the main forum, sub-forums, private sessions for entrepreneurs, exhibitions, and innovation competitions.

At the private sessions for entrepreneurs, 24 companies in the information technology application innovation industry signed contracts for projects to be developed in BDA National Xinchuang Park.

The projects involved a total investment of 6.7 billion yuan ($1.02 billion) and an estimated revenue contribution of 55 billion yuan.
