The Beijing venture capital and innovative service alliance's healthcare specialty committee was established on Oct 18 in Beijing. Representatives from E-Town Capital, E-Town Biopharmaceutical Park, Anlong Fund, Huagai Capital, GL Capital Group, Oriental Fortune Capital, Triniti Capital, GTJA Investment Group, Yeequn, and Mefund Capital attended the preparation ceremony. Forty-two healthcare organizations have joined the committee.

The healthcare industry is a new positive strategic industry predicted to become an economic pillar by 2020. The healthcare specialty committee will be established in E-Town venture capital and join the innovative service alliance to promote development of the healthcare industry and create a better environment for Beijing's innovation and entrepreneurship in that field.

At the preparation ceremony the committee passed an election regulation, and recorded Highlight Capital, Legend Capital, Citic Capital, GL Capital Group, Obimed, China Equity Group, Co-win Venture Capital, and Oriental Fortune Capital as its first members. A secretariat will be established to carry out routine tasks. In the future, members will use their own unique advantages to support the development of the Beijing venture capital and innovative service alliance. 

The committee is a specialty committee modeled after the specialty committee for integrated circuitry and like it is aimed at promoting communication and cooperation to build complete operational procedures. It will provide support for healthcare services in financial and service industries.
