E-Town Capital works as an investment and financing platform of Beijing’s E-Town economic and development area. It facilitates equity investment and industrial funding of integrated circuit companies, among others. In 2015, E-Town Capital joined ISSI, OV, and Mattson in cross-border mergers. On Oct 18 E-Town Capital bought iML which is a subsidiary of Exar; this purchase was a milestone for E-Town Capital in the semiconductor area. At the summit, the integrated circuit specialty committee of the Beijing venture capital and innovative service alliance, which has more than 20 members, was established. In the future, it will promote the development of the domestic integrated circuit industry and cooperation between Chinese and American integrated circuit companies.

The Made in China 2025 strategy provide opportunities for the semiconductor industry. However, industrial cross-border funding is just a financial tool; the real foundation is the industry. Industries are the foundation and finance is the technique -- industrial funding links industries with capital and mergers help industries to gain key technologies and important strategic resources. E-Town Capital participates in 40 industries' funds, which it uses to promote industrial development and attract international advanced technologies.
The Beijing venture capital and innovative service alliance is a strategic partner of the Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association. Together with specialists in the field of integrated circuits, Hua Capital’s Huang Weixu, Wang Xiaobo from E-Town Capital, Liu Xinyu from Prosperity Investment, and Wang Yan from CAS Investment management Co., Ltd witnessed the establishment of the integrated circuit specialty committee.
Silicon Valley is the pinnacle of the electronic and computer industries, and is home to the top technology of the integrated circuit industry; it is the gathering place for leaders and creators of high-tech. Choosing Silicon Valley as the location of the opening ceremony of the integrated circuit specialty committee expressed the hope of promoting communication and cooperation between the Chinese and American integrated circuit industries.
