E-Town Capital is among 2016 Chinese Funds of Funds Top 10
The 8th Global PE Beijing Forum, hosted by the China Association of Private Equity, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work, the Beijing Haidian District Municipal Government and the Beijing Private Equity Association, was held in Beijing on Dec 10. The Forum reviewed the ‘New Normal’ of China’s economy, the innovation environment around the whole country and the latest trends of China’s PE/VC industry. It aimed to once again promote a meaningful and frank dialogue among the leading foreign and Chinese fund managers, government officers, and institutional investors on the development of China’s private equity industry. At the 2016 China PE/VC Award Ceremony, held on the night on Dec 10, E-Town Capital was ranked among the Top 10 of both 2016 Chinese Funds of Funds and 2016 Chinese Buyout Funds. Tang Xuefeng, the general manager of the E-Town Fund, was named the outstanding young equity investor in China for 2016.

Recently, E-Town Capital has established a special buyout fund and cooperated with investment organizations to launch overseas fund pooling to encourage and guide enterprises in organizing resources focusing on major technologies. It has also established a buyout fund with AGIC Capital to buy Gimatic and Krauss Maffei.

In the construction of its fund of funds, E-Town Capital has established a complete system. It has invested over240 billion rmb in 50 funds. Its Angel Fund, VC Fund, PE Fund and Buyout Fund will support different enterprises to promote the combination of industry and finance and offer protection to industries in the Beijing Economic Development Area.

In this summit, E-Town Capital was invited to join the opening ceremony of the LP specialized committee and also hosted the FoF Forum in which developing trends of funds of funds were discussed.
